Domestic Waste Management
A study into domestic waste management and ways in which we can make it a whole lot better!
We are all aware of our duty to recycle and manage our waste as efficiently and effectively as possible, however it does make life a real pain and the vast majority of the population don’t even bother- I mean why should they?!
Considering the 6 main types of waste; general waste, organic waste, bottles, cans, newspapers and cardboard my task is to come up with a product to aid waste management in the home, particularly looking at the stage from ‘kitchen bin to refuse truck’. The outcome must encourage and support recycling and be part of a coherent system.
I know this is an extremely tough nut to crack but, I am an Erskiner after all and we love nothing more than a good challenge!
