Pecha Kucha is Japanese for chit-chat and I think we should all get involved!

I have heard that this really is fantastic, I call for us all to learn the Pecha Kucha style…
Pecha Kucha nights are a Dott 07 project they involve speakers from design, architecture, art, music and photography each talking about 20 slides for 20 seconds per slide. I think it is going to be the next big thing for presenting! If anyone has been to a Pecha Kucha night, fancies going and knows of any up and coming nights let me know..
Not everyone will agree, but I think they’ve produced some nice graphics for the flyer’s, to promote the evenings; to see more do a Google image search for Pecha Kucha.

Considering how many boring presentations i’ve seen, I would love to see how ideas/info can be presented in exciting ways. Think people are more likely to actually listen (not doze off!) - and, most importantly, remember/act on what has been said…

I think it’s a pretty picture too.. All their graphical stuff has looked good. It’s meant to be a really fun evening- these big design cheeses banned from using flowery language- awesome!

Power presenting eh? Ali and I would be no good at 20 seconds per slide. Takes us that long to introduce it…
