We think differently, providing our unique creativity and perspective to your project; together turning opportunities into action.
On the morning of Saturday 23rd June, the building will be opened up to the public as part of Architecture Week which aims to promote public awareness of and interest in architecture and the built environment.

Designed by Bauman Lyons Architects and project managed by Erskine, this dramatic but welcoming building was commissioned by one of Britain’s leading charities, The Children’s Society.
Sited in the heart of Little London, one of Leeds’ most economically disadvantaged communties, this flagship building hosts a 65 place nursery, together with health, volunteering, and family support services. Officially opened in December 2006 by the Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP, the building was made possible by a complex package of regeneration funding from Sure Start, Children’s Centre Fund, ERDF, and Leeds City Council who are major partners in the project.
The event takes places at an exciting time when Leeds City Council has released the draft Development Framework offering local peple the chance to comment on the proposed new vision for Little London.
There will be free guided tours from 10am to 12pm. Why not stay on and join us at 12 o’clock for an informal debate on how the Children’s Centre can contribute to the creation of a sustainable community?
The tours and debate are free but due to space restrictions advance booking is essential.
