About you

You will also be:
- a confident, creative person with good telephone and interpersonal manner
- a good team player but able to work independently, planning and managing your own time effectively
- good at completing tasks on time without fuss
- prepared to work flexible hours and travel when necessary (we have clients all over the country)
- interested in community engagement and in the views of children & young people
- willing to be CRB checked
- keenly interested in and have a general knowledge of regeneration issues (social and economic)
- familiar with research and research methods; experience of running focus groups would be an advantage
- a very good report writer using a clear, jargon free, plain English style
- having some knowledge and experience of qualitative / quantitative analysis
- well organised with good administrative skills
- able to supply excellent references
What will I be doing?
Its a challenging and interesting position. The kind of things you may get involved in include:
- researching public policies and strategies
- face to face consultation a wide variety of people
- telephone interviews with individuals from the public, private and voluntary sectors
- setting up big consultation events (everything from booking marquees to blowing up helium balloons!)
- creating and analysing questionnaires
- writing reports and using our intranet
The career prospects are excellent and position is full time working from our Leeds Office. Salary negotiable dependent on experience and in-house training and support will be given.
