The power of play

We are really pleased that our first play strategy client East Lindsey District Council were awarded £260,000 from the Big Lottery to improve play and free-time activities for the children and young people of East Lindsey.

Only one of 32 successful strategies in that round of bidding, Erskine worked closely with the council, their partners and, most importantly, children and young people, to develop a robust strategy that will put play on the map… permanently. Over the next five years the strategy will deliver a flagship play vehicle that will travel this highly rural area providing quality play and freetime opportunities. Other projects in the strategy include a dedicated play development officer and an interactive website to improve the availability of information about play facilities.
