Congratulations to Leicester City Council’s Libraries Service who have just been awarded a £1.49 million Lottery grant to establish a brand new flagship library and community learning centre in the heart of the New Parks area!
Erskine has been working with Leicester Libraries since January this year, assisting the Council to consult with a wide range of local adults, children and young people and key stakeholders about their vision for a new type of ‘community hub’ which will offer state-of-the-art library, ICT and multipurpose community facilities. We are delighted and proud to have been involved in the development of this exciting regeneration project.
Head of Libraries, Patricia Flynn said “This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the regeneration of New Parks and we are committed to involving local people, not only in the design and construction of the building, but in the future development and management of local services.
