A tailored approach to a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment in Stockport …

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council has commissioned Erskine to undertake its Childcare Sufficiency Assessment, as required by the Childcare Act 2006.

This work will ensure the council understands the borough’s ‘childcare picture’ and help it fulfil its duty under the Act to secure affordable childcare for all parents and carers in Stockport, regardless of where they live or their background.

The council were impressed with Erskine’s rounded understanding of Childcare Sufficiency as a concept rather than just as a research exercise and by our commitment to a proper partnership relationship to see the project through to completion.
