Erskine were asked by Groundwork Northumberland and the Northumberland Strategic Partnership (NSP) to develop an identity for an area of South East Northumberland tying together a number of environmental projects into a cohesive whole.

Following consultation with a large group of stakeholders and analysis of the polices affecting the geographic area, Erskine developed the name Bloom, the strap line and detailed project summary:
Bloom is a major environmental programme led by Groundwork Northumberland. It coordinates people from the public, private and voluntary sectors to deliver landscape improvements for the benefit of South East Northumberland.
Together the partners will enhance woodland and green spaces, building links between where people live and where nature can be enjoyed. Making the area more attractive will motivate businesses to invest, creating jobs and a range of activities promoting health, education and leisure will improve community life.
Following this, with our associates Funnel Creative, we developed a graphical identity, printed marketing materials and Erskine Design developed a fully standards compliant, accessible website for the project.
Finally we arranged and ran the launch of the project.
Thank you for all you hard work on ‘BLOOM’. It has given us an excellent platform for taking the work forward.
… many people have commented favourably on the profile of the speakers at the launch, people have been impressed to see Alan Clarke (Chief Executive of OneNortheast Regional Development Agency) taking such a lead role at the launch of an environmental project.
