We think differently, providing our unique creativity and perspective to your project; together turning opportunities into action.
The Foot and Mouth epidemic in 2001 sparked a new look at the rural economy and the role of of the market town within it. Following the outbreak, Lord Haskins’ report called for a ground up review of this vital part of the economy. Since then Erskine have conducted a number of projects in the areas of food, market town regeneration and developing the rural economy.
Erskine were one of the first organisations to work with a market town which had suffered terribly in the outbreak. Since then Erskine have become experts in the development of the rural economy from farm / estate diversification to creating regeneration action plans that really work.
